Shopfloor Quality & SPC

AOS: Quality&SPC is a set of solutions that includes comprehensive management of the quality control process that takes place during production.

The objective of the system’s implementation is to automate the control process as far as possible, introduce procedures to ensure reliable and timely control, direct assessment and qualitative qualification, as well as document and record the process.



System solutions for obtaining measurement data from the technological process. Ensuring correctness, appropriate frequency of checks and introduction of repetitive procedures recorded in the computer system.

Key assumptions

  • Automatic acquisition of measurement data from machines and testers in continuous mode, correlated with traceability identification,
  • Supplementing quality data with individual measurements, test runs, photographs, and videos.
  • Recording of discrete measurement data entered by operators, providing for the possibly automated reading of data from manual measuring instruments, authorization of measurements by an authorized employee logging in with an ID card,
  • Availability of measuring stations equipped with an AOS: Quality operator interface at production stations
  • Referring to or forcing a quality control test to be performed on the basis of, among others, time lapse or the number of production cycles carried out
  • Visualization of the product with indication of quality control points, interactive application for entering measurement data,

Mobile Inspections

Use of mobile terminals or industrial tablets to input quality control data.

Processing & Visualization

Processing of quality control measurement data and visualization of results and product qualification.

Key assumptions

  • Involvement of production employees in reliable quality control of products.
  • Visualization of the product and results of quality control in graphic form aimed at indicating the status of production with the utmost care for quality
  • Linking the controlled product to its control value limits, simple classification (with or without a limit) or statistical classification on the last n-samples
  • Indication of the trend towards exceeding the limit.
  • Registration of limit exceedances with operator’s description of the reason
  • Alarming in the case of exceeding the limit of deviation of quality parameters, escalation, possibility to stop the line.
  • Automation of quality discard or change of product class – based on quality control data, the system decides on rejecting or shifting the product for repair or change of quality class.

Quality Registration

Database of product parameters and quality control results.

Key assumptions

  • Import of quality parameters of products from ERP, PLM or other systems.
  • Setting the parameters of the test equipment for the selected product
  • Recording of measurement data, linking data to the traceability database
  • Reporting of quality control results and SPC measurements in the form of charts, diagrams, tables with the possibility of exporting data to Excel spreadsheets.
  • Creating a backup of measurement data, archiving data for many years.
